Combe Karting Championship
Round 1 of the Castle Combe Karting Championship attracted 30 drivers, despite the dismal weather. Tom Haddock lined up on pole for the final, but fell to fourth over the course of the race. It was Kristian Jennings who took the victory ahead of Antony Weeks, with Alec Jordan 3rd. After a thrilling first round to the championship the top four are separated by 1 point, with Tom Haddock and Kristian Jennings equal 1st.

The Castle Combe Karting Championship is running over 5 rounds, with the best 4 rounds to count. You do not need any previous experience to enter and anybody aged 15 or over can enter the championship
2012 Dates:
Round 1: Saturday 28th April
Round 2: Saturday 26th May
Round 3: Saturday 23rd June
Round 4: Saturday 25th August
Round 5: Saturday 22nd September
Each round will commence at 1:30pm, lasting approximately 3 hours.
Each round will consist of:
Practice,
4 Heats per driver,
1 Semi-Final per driver - Grid positions decided by points scored during heats,
Only drivers that win their Semi-Finals will qualify for the Final. Grid positions will be decided by fastest lap times.You have the potential to score points in every race you compete in, with the total points scored during each round going towards your Championship total. The final points are decided by your 4 highest scores. The person with the 4 highest scores will be crowned The 2012 Castle Combe Karting Champion.
It costs just £47 per person per round. Or you can enter all five rounds for a discounted price of £200.
There is a maximum number of 48 entries per round in the championship, so make sure you book in plenty of time!
